1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. oatmeal
2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. chopped green peppers (optional)
1 can hot dog chili sauce, divided in half

Combine all ingredients except 1/2 can (1/2 cup) hot dog sauce. Mix lightly but well. Press into small loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. To serve, remove from pan, heat remaining hot dog chili sauce with pan drippings from loaf. Serve with slices of meat loaf. 4 servings.
