WHOLE GRAIN OR GRAHAM BREAD 
3 clean, dry green bean size cans
1 c. graham flour
1 c. regular white flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour milk, or buttermilk
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light molasses
1 tbsp. shortening
1/4 to 1/2 c. raisins

Heat cans in oven (I put them in an 8 x 8 to handle easily). Pour some shortening into cans or in one, then pour from can to can then measure 1 tablespoon for recipe. Mix all ingredients until well blended and divide into the 3 cans.

Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees. Shake out bread to cool. To sour milk: add 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice to a 1 cup measure. Add sweet milk to fill, stir, let set 10 minutes.
