CHOCOLATE PEPPERMINT PIE | |
2 tbsp. butter 1 1/4 c. marshmallow creme 1/4 tsp. salt 3 c. corn flakes 1 pt. chocolate ice cream 1 pt. vanilla ice cream 1/2 c. chopped peppermint candy Combine butter, marshmallow creme and salt in a large fry pan; place over low heat. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth and hot. Add corn flakes; stir carefully until all flakes are well coated. Press gently over side and bottom of buttered 9-inch pie pan; chill. Fill with layer of chocolate ice cream; top with layer of vanilla ice cream, smoothing top. Place in freezer until firm. Sprinkle top with candy. Freeze until ready to serve. |
