1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. flour
4 tbsp. milk
1 lb. chocolate stars
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs

Cream shortening with sugars until fluffy. Stir in peanut butter, eggs and milk. Add flour, soda and salt mixing well. Shape into balls and place on a greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 7 minutes. Remove from oven and place a star in the center of each cookie, return to oven and bake 5-7 minutes longer. Candy will fall off if not pressed in before cookies are completely baked.
