OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. old fashioned or quick cooking rolled oats
1 c. toasted rice cereal
1/2 c. raisins

1. Preheat oven 375 degrees.

2. In large bowl beat butter and sugars until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well blended.

3. Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; beat until well blended.

4. Stir in rolled oats, cereal and raisins.

5. Drop batter in heaping tablespoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.

6. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 36 cookies.
