DRIED APPLE CAKE 
2 lbs. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. dried apples, cooked
2 c. raisins
2 c. plain flour (set aside 1/3 c. to coat raisins)
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda

Cook dried apples in enough water to cover. Cook about 30 minutes; let cool. Coat raisins with flour. Mix butter, brown sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Add apples then the remaining dry ingredients. Add flour-coated raisins last. Pour into a 10 inch tube pan and bake at 350 degrees until done.
