CHEWY CHOCOLATE & CHIPS 
2 1/4 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
1/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 pkg. instant pudding mix
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (opt.)

Mix flour and soda. Combine butter, sugars, vanilla and pudding mix. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. DO NOT overbake.
