TACO SALAD | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 jar taco sauce, mild 1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained 1 head lettuce, cut up 1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese 1 onion, diced 1 bag Dorito (or corn) chips 4 tomatoes, cut in chunks (optional) Brown the meat, drain; add taco sauce, beans; simmer about 10 minutes. Place lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and onion in large bowl. Add crushed chips, plus meat/bean sauce. Toss together. Serve with favorite salad dressing. Serves 4 to 6. |
