1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts

Mix all but chips and nuts on medium speed until blended, then high speed about 3 minutes. Fold in chips and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 minutes (don't over bake).
