"CLAM" PEANUT BUTTER BALLS | |
1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks) 1 c. peanut butter (smooth or chunky) 1 lb. box confectioners' sugar (sifted) 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips Cooking paraffin Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler with 1/2 slab of paraffin. Stir in paraffin until chocolate is smooth. Mix butter, peanut butter, sugar and vanilla into balls. Dip ball fully into chocolate and place on waxed paper on top of cookie sheet. Place in freezer for approximately 5 minutes for chocolate to harden. Remove from paper and keep in refrigerator to keep fresh. Makes approximately 72 balls. |
