GERMAN COLE SLAW 
1 head cabbage, grated
1/2 med. onion, grated

Pour 1/2 cup sugar over above and let stand.

Bring to boil: 1/3 c. salad oil 1 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. celery seed 1/2 tsp. mustard seed 1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Pour over slaw. Let stand for several hours, then stir. Improves with age.
