Cut 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. lean beef into cubes and finely chop 1 large onion. In large skillet, saute meat and onion in oil, stirring until onion is lightly browned, about 3 minutes. If desired, add carrots, celery, bell peppers or other vegetables. Add 3 cups water and bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 10 minutes. Serves 5 (1 cup).
Break S & B Golden Curry sauce mix (available in oriental food department) into mixture stirring until completely melted. Simmer 5 minutes stirring constantly. Serve hot over rice. You may use chicken, pork, lamb or shrimp.
