CABBAGE ROLLS 
Lg. cabbage
1 lb. ground beef and 1/2 lb. ground pork
1 c. cooked rice
1 sm. chopped onion
2 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 egg

Core cabbage, place a large fork in center and plunge into boiling water until the leaves separate. Place mixture in center of cabbage leaf and roll secure. Place toothpick in roll to keep solid. Saute in oil, turning once and place in the baking dish.

Cover with following:

1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Stewed tomatoes or juice to cover

Bake an hour or until the rolls are tender.
