2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg white

Boil sugar water and syrup until forms a soft ball in cold water. Beat egg white until stiff and slowly add half of syrup beating constantly. Cook remainder until it forms hard ball in cold water and add slowly to first mixture. Beat until stiff and add vanilla and walnuts. Turn on buttered pan and cool.
