STUFFED MUSHROOMS 
1 sm. onion, diced
6 oz. turkey, pork, lite Jimmy Dean sausage
6 slices (2 c.) bread crumbs
20 lg. (2 inch) button mushrooms
1/4 tsp. garlic
1 sm. pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
3/4 stick butter (optional, olive oil)
1/4 c. mild Cheddar cheese
Stems from 20 lg. (2 inch) mushrooms

Saute onions and mushroom pieces in 3/4 stick of butter. When softened, add onions, turn clear, add 1/4 teaspoon garlic, cream cheese and 2 cups of bread crumbs. Cook sausage until done and add to mixture of bread and other ingredients.

Continue to stir on medium low heat until well blended, adding shredded Cheddar cheese last. Stuff mushrooms with above ingredients and bake with 1/4 stick butter.

NOTE: If 100% pork sausage is used, drain before adding.

Before serving, broil 3-5 minutes until hot throughout.
