STRAWBERRY WHITE CAP PIE 
1 qt. strawberries
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1 or 2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 egg white
Vanilla
1 (9") baked pie shell

Cook sugar, water, syrup and cream of tartar until sugar is dissolved. Then pour slowly into unbeaten egg white and beat until it forms light peaks.
