2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa powder (not instant)
1/2 c. real butter
1/2 c. milk
3 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil first four ingredients for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and quickly stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper or buttered foil. You must work quickly because the mixture hardens in a few minutes.
