HONEY BAKED BEANS 
1 lb. pinto beans
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 med. onion, chopped
8 slices bacon
1 c. honey

Sort and wash beans. Cook by your usual method for 1 or 2 hours. Drain and save hot liquid. Add beans, onion, and bacon to pot. Mix ginger, dry mustard and salt and slowly add hot liquid. Mix in honey and pour over beans. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 3 or 4 hours; adding liquid as needed. Uncover for last hour.
