SQUASH RELISH 
6 lg. squash
4 med. onions
2 med. bell peppers
1/4 c. salt
2 tsp. turmeric
3 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
2 tsp. celery seed

Grind squash and onions and peppers in food chopper. Add salt and cover with cold water. Let stand for 1 hour. Rinse in colander by running water over. Drain and mash out excess water. Boil turmeric, sugar, vinegar and celery seed for 3 minutes. Add squash mixture and simmer for 3 minutes. Put in jars. Makes 5 pints. Do not need to hot bath.
