CINNAMON GLAZED APPLES 
2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry-banana Jello
1 c. water
1 c. apple juice
1 cinnamon stick or 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
6 med. apples, peeled and cored
3 lemon slices, 1/4 inch thick

Combine gelatin, water, apple juice, cinnamon and lemon in medium skillet. Bring to a boil, stirring until dissolved. Add apples, cover and simmer 15 minutes or until tender, turning once and basting. Remove from heat.

Cool apples in syrup. Remove cinnamon stick and lemon slices. Place apples in serving dishes. Top with syrup. Chill until set, about 1 hour.
