Trim most of the fat off 6 pork chops (center cut preferable). Brown in frying pan with 2 tablespoons oil. Simmer on both sides. Remove from pan. Put 1 cup of rice in pan and saute until brown. Add 1 small onion chopped and 2 buttons of garlic chopped. Salt and pepper to taste. Add 1 can cream of mushroom soup and one can of water. Bring to boil. Pour mixture into casserole. Place chops on top of rice and cover with foil. Cook in oven at 350 degrees approximately 45 minutes. Check during baking time and see if it is a little dry. Add some water if needed. Serves 6 to 8 persons.
