EASY LEMON PEPPER WHITEFISH
This is an incredibly easy and tasty recipe that I taught my 16 year old to make. After trying it she was so proud that it tasted so good and that everyone loved it!

4-5 whitefish fillets (or whatever fish you prefer)
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into pats
lemon pepper seasoning (McCormick)
dried chives
dried parsley
salt, to taste
aluminum foil

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Tear off two large equal sheets of aluminum foil, lay 1 out flat and set aside the other. Spray foil with non-stick cooking spray (Pam) and lay fish on foil.

Liberally sprinkle each fillet with lemon-pepper seasoning. Sprinkle each fillet with dried chives and parsley. Add salt to taste (if desired). Cut butter into small pats and place equal amounts on each fillet.

Use second piece of foil to cover fish. Roll the edges of the foil together to seal in the fish.

Place fish on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 40 minutes.

Serve with rice and your favorite vegetable.

Serves 4 to 5.

Prep time: 5 minutes; Cook time: 40 minutes.
