HEATH BAR CANDY 
1 lb. Land 'O Lakes butter
2 c. white sugar
12 oz. pkg. chocolate bits
2 c. pecans

Grease large pan (at least 17 x 13 inches) with butter. Sprinkle 1 cup of chocolate bits and 1 cup of nuts on pan. Cook butter and sugar, stirring constantly (about 1 time a minute) until dark caramel color (about 20 minutes) or 300 degrees on candy thermometer. Pour over bits and nuts.

Sprinkle the remaining chocolate bits and let melt for a few minutes. Spread over candy and sprinkle other cup of nuts over this and press into candy with spatula. Cool overnight (or at least 4 hours). Turn out of pan and break into pieces.
