BANANA WHOLE WHEAT MUFFINS 
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
3/4 c. pureed banana
1/4 c. honey
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped (optional)

Stir together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Beat together until blended egg, banana, honey and oil. Add flour mixture and nuts. Stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fill muffin pan cups (about 1/3 cup capacity). Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven about 20 to 23 minutes. Makes 9 muffins. Enjoy!
