LIGHT FRUIT CAKE | |
1 lb. mixed candied fruit 1 lb. yellow raisins 1 lb. dark raisins 1 c. butter 3 c. flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg 4 eggs 1 c. chopped walnuts 2 c. sugar 1 c. milk 1/2 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 3/4 c. brandy Cook all raisins; allow to drain overnight. Mix all ingredients together well. Line baking pans with waxed paper; pour in mixture and bake at 250 degrees for 3 hours. |
