“ARROZ CON SALCHICHAS” IS IN:

ARROZ CON SALCHICHAS 
2 cups rice
3 sweet Italian sausages, diced
1/3 cup homemade sofrito
1 garlic cloves, minced
9 olives halved
salt, pepper and adobo, to taste
4 cups broth
1/2 can tomato sauce

In a pot, add a little olive oil and brown sausages then remove. Add garlic and quickly stir around. Add sofrito, olives and tomato sauce and mix around. Add spices and return sausages to pot. Add rice and mix around. Add liquid and stir. When simmering, reduce heat and let cook for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with habichuelas guisadas.

Note: The traditional recipe calls for Salchichas Libby's, but I don't like them!!
