CHICKEN SPINACH CASSEROLE
4 boneless chicken breasts (on lg. side)
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. chopped frozen spinach
8-10 oz. Cheddar cheese (I prefer shape)
6 oz. or 1/2 pkg. bacon

Note: Any type of cheese may be used such as Swiss, Monterey Jack, etc. Also, if diet is a problem bacon may be omitted and low fat cheese used.

In a large casserole thaw spinach in microwave; approximately 5 minutes; spread thawed spinach in dish and place chicken breasts on top; cover; return to microwave and cook on medium high; approximately 20 minutes or until chicken is done. Remove from microwave, slice cheese and arrange on top of chicken; top with bacon slices. At this point dish may be returned to microwave for approximately 5 minutes until cheese is melted an bacon is done, or if preferred dish can be placed under the broiler in conventional oven until cheese is melted and bacon is crisp; approximately 2-5 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

I do not even have to make this recipe to know that it is a complete waste of time and will have no flavor! A MICROWAVE?!?!? Really!? This is the laziest recipe I have ever seen!
