1 stick butter
1 sm. green pepper
1 onion
1/2 c. ketchup
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. mustard
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 clove garlic
Pinch of salt
2 lbs. ground beef
1 lb. pork sausage
1 egg
1 sm. can V-8 juice

Saute pepper and onion (chopped) in butter. Mix ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, brown sugar, garlic, salt plus water to equal 3/4 cup. Combine with sauteed mixture and simmer 10 minutes.

Mix ground beef, pork sausage and egg. Knead in sauce. Form into 2 or 3 loaves. Cover with V-8 juice. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
