HONEY PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES | |
1/4 c. soft shortening, 1/2 butter 1/2 c. peanut butter 1/2 c. white sugar 1/2 c. honey 1/4 tsp. salt 1 egg 1 1/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. baking soda Blend dry ingredients together; set aside. Mix shortening, sugar and honey, peanut butter and egg together thoroughly. Add dry ingredients mixing well. Chill. Roll into balls the size of a large walnut. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Criss cross with fork dipped in flour. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Good to keep batter chilled between pan refills. |
