1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. honey
2/3 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped peanuts

Mix shortening, sugar, honey, peanut butter and egg thoroughly. Blend dry ingredient, stir into shortening mixture. Add nuts. Shape into strip about 10 x 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches. Wrap in waxed paper, store in refrigerator several hours. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes after cutting dough in 1/8 inch slices with sharp knife.
