12 whole honey graham crackers 1 c. butter 1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts Line a 15"x10"x1" jelly roll pan with foil. Arrange graham crackers in pan so they cover bottom. In a 1 1/2 quart saucepan, stirring occasionally, melt butter and brown sugar, stirring constantly, bring to a full rolling boil and boil 2 minutes; remove from heat; stir in walnuts, pour evenly over crackers. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven until top bubbles, 10 minutes. Allow to cool 15 minutes, cut into 2" squares. Remove to wire racks to cool completely. Makes about 3 dozen. |
