PORK CHOP CASSEROLE 
6 pork chops
1/2 lb. bacon
2 lbs. sauerkraut
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
4 oz. dry white wine
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
Pinch of thyme
2 tsp. oregano
1 (15 oz.) jar applesauce

Cut bacon into small pieces. Fry until crisp. Drain on a paper towel. Mix with sauerkraut, applesauce, brown sugar, mustard, wine, pepper, paprika, thyme and oregano. Saute chops until light brown. Place on top of mixture in casserole. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
