BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 1/2 lb. beef sirloin, cut into 3 x 1/2 inch strips
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. shortening
10 1/2 oz. beef broth
3 tbsp. tomato juice
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 oz. sliced mushrooms
1 c. sour cream
Hot cooked rice or noodles

Coat beef with mixture of flour, salt and pepper. Brown meat in shortening in large fry pan or Dutch oven. Stir in remaining ingredients except sour cream, and rice. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and cook 20-30 minutes. Stir in sour cream; heat through but do not boil. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
