LEMON SQUARES 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
2 tbsp. oil
3 eggs
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. lemon juice

Reserve 1 cup dry cake mix. Combine remaining cake mix, 1 egg and oil (mixture will be crumbly). Press into bottom of greased 13 x 9 x 2 cake pan. Beat remaining ingredients until light and fluffy, 3 minutes. Pour into crust and bake about 20 minutes (until no imprint when touched lightly in center). Cool and cut into squares.

LIME SQUARES:

Substitute lime peel and lime juice for the lemon. Beat in 2 tablespoons flour with the eggs.
