CHEESE DANISH 
2 cans crescent rolls
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (not soft kind)
1 tsp. vanilla

Spread 1 can rolls on a lightly greased cookie sheet (9x15 inches). Press dough so it fits the sheet. Beat together the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and egg yolk. Spread on rolls in pan. Then spread the other can of rolls on top. Brush with the beaten egg white. Bake at 300 degrees until golden brown, approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

NOTE: The recipe calls for powdered sugar icing drizzled on top but is great without it and less calories.
