HURRY - UP BEEF KABOBS | |
2-2 1/2 lb. beef chuck, cut into 1" cubes 1/2 c. dry wine 1/4 c. vinegar 1/4 c. soy sauce 1/4 c. salad oil 1/2 tsp. instant chopped onion 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 tsp. thyme 1/4 tsp. meat tenderizer Pieces of carrot (precooked), green pepper strips, cherry tomatoes or canned button mushrooms (your choice). Combine wine, vinegar, soy sauce, oil, onion, garlic salt, oregano, thyme and tenderizer in glass dish or plastic bag. Add beef cubes. Cover or seal and marinate in refrigerator at least 6 hours. Turn meat occasionally. Drain meat. Thread on skewers, alternating with carrots, tomatoes, etc. Broil 7-9 minutes, turning several times. Serves 4-6. |
