RED CABBAGE SLAW 
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. oil
1/4 c. sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Red cabbage sliced very thin
1 sm. onion sliced very thin

Have cabbage and onion finely shredded. Mix vinegar, oil and sugar. Bring to a boil. Pour over cabbage and onion which have been placed in an airtight container. Occasionally turn container upside down to be sure the top of the cabbage has dressing on it. Keeps for several days in the refrigerator.
