RAISIN ROCKS COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sour milk
1 c. each: chopped nuts & raisins

Cream shortening, sift brown sugar and add gradually while creaming them thoroughly. Add beaten eggs. Sift flour, salt, soda, cloves and cinnamon together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour milk until all are well blended. Add chopped nuts and raisins. Drop by teaspoon about 2" apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 minutes.
