BULKOGI - KOREAN DISH 
1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
1 1/2 lbs. lean, boneless beef
6 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. sesame oil
1 green onion, thinly sliced
2 garlic cloves, pressed or minced
1 tsp. ginger
Dash of pepper

To toast seeds, in wide frying pan over medium heat, toast 1/2 cup sesame seeds, shaking pan until golden. Transfer to blender or motor and blend. Slice meat across grain 1/8 inch slices. In bowl, stir seeds, soy sauce, sugar, oil, garlic, ginger, and pepper. Combine with meat; cover and chill 1 to 1 1/2 hours. To cook, add 2 tablespoons salad oil to wok or heavy fry pan. When oil is hot, add half meat mixture and 1 to 2 tablespoons marinade. Cook, stirring constantly, until meat is brown on both sides, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove meat; keep warm. Cook remaining beef; add more oil if necessary.
