CHOCOLATE LAYER DESSERT 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
2 sm. pkgs. chocolate pudding mix (cook and serve)
3 c. milk
Additional chopped nuts

Mix together butter, flour and nuts. Press into 9x13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool completely.

Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy. Fold in Cool Whip, reserving small amount to cover top later. Spread cream cheese, powdered sugar, Cool Whip mixture on top of cooled crust.

Combine pudding mix and milk and cook according to directions on package. Cool and spread pudding on top of the cheese mixture.

Top with reserved Cool Whip and the additional nuts. Refrigerate.
