1 1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
Chocolate stars (2 boxes)
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar together. Add slightly beaten eggs and vanilla. Slowly add flour and salt. Chill one hour.

Form 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press star into center of cookie dough. Bake in 400 degree oven 6-8 minutes (until bottom of cookie is slightly brown).
