NAVY BEAN SOUP 
1 lb. Navy (white Northern) beans
1 lb. carrots, sliced
3-4 stalks celery, sliced
1 lg. can tomatoes, undrained
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 ham hock
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder

Place beans, onions, ham hock and seasonings in large pot. Cover well with water. When beans are half cooked, add celery, carrots, and tomatoes. Cook until all are done.
