CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP 
1 chicken
3 potatoes
3 carrots
1 onion
2 stalks celery
1/2 stick butter
1/4 c. flour
Salt and pepper to taste

Boil chicken until tender, remove and save broth. Bone and cut up chicken. Grate vegetables, cook in broth until real tender, remove from pan. Put butter in pan, add flour, cook until well blended. Add vegetables, broth and chicken. Cook together a few minutes. Add water to get desired texture.
