SHORTBREAD LOGS 
1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1/2 c. 10x sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Mix together first 4 ingredients. Shape into 2 inch logs, using 1 teaspoon dough for each cookie. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 1/2 inch apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-13 minutes or until edges just begin to turn golden. Let cool. Melt chocolate chips. Dip each end of cookies into chocolate. Place on wax paper. Sprinkle with nuts or sprinkles, if desired.
