1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
3/4 c. creamy or chunk style peanut butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
3/4 c. chopped peanut nuts

Melt butter, corn syrup, peanut butter, salt and vanilla in large mixing bowl. Mix until well blended. Stir in sifted confectioners' sugar gradually. Turn onto board and knead until well blended and smooth. Add peanut nuts gradually, pressing and kneading into candy. Press out with hand or rolling pin into squares 1/2 inch thick. Cut into serving pieces. Makes 2 pounds.
