WILD RICE STUFFING | |
1 c. uncooked wild rice (may substitute brown rice if wild rice is not available) 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 to 1 1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms 1 1/2 c. diced or chopped cooked ham 3 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. marjoram 1/2 tsp. thyme Bring water to a boil and add rice. Reduce heat and simmer until the rice is tender - about 30 to 40 minutes. Saute onion and mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes. Add to rice along with the ham. Season with spices. Makes 8 servings.
