1 lb. bacon, cut in half 1 lb. chicken livers, halved 1 can water chestnuts, halved MARINATING SAUCE: 1 c. honey 1 c. sherry 1 c. soy sauce 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. ground ginger (optional) Wrap 1/2 strip of bacon around half piece of liver and half piece of chestnut. Secure with a toothpick. Marinate overnight, turning at least once. These can be made ahead and frozen, if desired. Broil in oven under flame or in microwave. About 30 pieces. |
