SMOKED SAUSAGE YAMS AND CABBAGE 
1 can chicken broth
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 lb. sweet potatoes
2/3 c. chopped onion
6 c. shredded cabbage
1 lb. cooked smoked sausage
1 lg. apple cored, cut in 1/2 inch pieces

Stir chicken broth and mustard until blended. Boil. Add potatoes and onions. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes, until potatoes are almost tender. Add cabbage and sausage. Cover. Cook 15 minutes longer, stirring once or twice. Until potatoes are tender and cabbage is tender crisp. Stir in apple. Cook three more minutes.
