BARBEQUED CHICKEN 
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/3 c. water
3/4 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 clove garlic
1/4 c. ketchup
1/3 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. butter
Dash of pepper

Salt cut up chicken and put in frying pan with cold shortening. Use about a tablespoon for 1 chicken. Put top on frying pan and steam until tender. Spread chicken in shallow pan and pour sauce over it. Bake at 350 degrees for at least 30 minutes, basting several times. Serve on a mound of rice.
