1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1 1/2 c. flour
2 c. corn flakes, do not crush
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix butter and sugar well; sift in flour, baking soda and cream of tartar. Add vanilla, nuts and corn flakes. Mix well. Drop on cookie sheet and press with a fork. Cook for 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
